Three heavy hitters of Latin Jazz join forces for this very special one off world music project featuring Cuban born Bass virtuoso Osmar Salazar. While Osmar is a master of many genres, his traditional Cuban roots emanate through his numerous album recordings and International shows. Having performed and recorded in the past with Latin/Jazz drumming sensation Sacha Kloostra, these two rhythm section masters create a fierce rhythmical connection which is the vehicle for Cleon Barraclough’s inventive compositions.
As extraordinary improvisers they effortlessly intertwine Jazz, Latin and Funk with intricate grooving, blistering runs and a sublime harmonic density. Cuban and Latin jazz classics will be also at the forefront showcasing the depth of their musical diversity and paying homage to the greats of Latin music.
