What a pleasure to listen to The Soundscapes Quintet. Cleon Barraclough is a natural, both as a pianist and composer of the material for this well matched group of musicians. Their sound is honest and attains that balance where improvisation and composition become hard to differentiate. Lets look forward to this group continuing to pave it’s own musical path.
